I Prefer Graphite Pencils
They are clean and are easier to control. I like conte when I can use it freely, I think it gives great lines and dark visible lines. When you try for a crisp thin line with conte it's just a pain in the ass! I like vine charcoal in the same way, messy and fast. Ink, UGH don't even get me started on that shit. Ink was made for perfectionist and the precise kind. I again like ink when I can just scribble with it... I don't know maybe I am just a scribbler at heart.
